"Gembala Kerbau" Birds

We called these birds "Gembala Kerbau". In English, I am not sure. Do you know?
Its scientific name is Acridotheses tristis.
Looks like they are eating something on the ground.

Now, they know I am taking their pictures, one of them try to fly away..

You can find more about photos of animals/ critters around the globe on :

I'm glad they stopped still long enough for you to take their photo. Birds like to flitter about a bit :)

It's a Mynah bird ..or also as it's known a Common Mynah. I think it's also spelt Myna.

I remember them from when I was living back home in New Zealand.

There are a lot of them in the North Island..

Nice photos..

I think another name for them is the Indian Mynah or Myna bird...
